As the “Mobile Ö1 Studio” of Radio Österreich 1, the ZENDOME.75M , was the central meeting point for science, research, art and technology at the ars electronica 2012 for the fourth time in a row. In September 2012, the 75 sqm dome area offered, on the worldwide unique platform for digital art and media culture, the unique space for projects and installations dealing with auditory influences in public space.

Here, children and adults could engage with the soundscape that surrounds us every day. An exhibition by the Berlin University of the Arts, documentary films by young reporters from the Ö1 Children’s University, creative events, musical and choreographic contributions attracted an international audience to the Mobile Ö1 Atelier.

True to this year’s ars electronica title “The Big Picture – World Pictures for the Future”, the ZENDOME.75M left visitors with an unforgettable impression of an extraordinary possibility of exhibition, action and discussion space.
