The futuristic Effekte Dome was the central focal point of the science festival “EFFEKTE 2013” of the same name in Karlsruhe in June 2013.

Information pavilion during the day, theatre, lecture hall and illuminated eye-catcher in the evening: the ZENDOME.75M magically attracted the audience for ten days and nights.

In the Effekte-Dome itself, puppet theatres, concerts and wild experiments made the sciences tangible and entertaining. Actors from the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe used science as a script here and played with current research content and personalities.

From the geodesic dome on Karlsruhes Schlossplatz, visitors also flocked to the other 250 events spread throughout the city and discovered the researcher in themselves.

Conclusion of the event: experiment successful!
