At the exclusive SAP Executive Summit 2014 in Potsdam, the “Design Thinking” concept of the Hasso Plattner Institut (HPI) was to be experienced in a holistic way.

The ZENDOME construction was used as the “Workspace of the Future”. It enabled the 250 participants to get to know the three core elements ”The place, the process and the people” in a concentrated and at the same time open and inviting working atmosphere.

The geodesic structure thus provided a unique setting at the three-day event for experiencing the principles and processes of design thinking “live” as a driver of innovation.

Perfectly integrated into the “Work-in-Progress” structure was also an exhibition of Design Thinking projects, which, printed on the clamped triangles, presented the multiple possibilities of the method for developing innovative ideas in all areas of life.

And with success. Bill McDermott, CEO SAP, for example, said in his closing speech to executives and academics, “My favorite part was the Design Thinking experience with the students.”
