For the Kelag GmbH, one of Austria’s leading energy service providers, the ZENDOME.75M was on the road in October 2008. In a total of four district capitals the geodesic dome created publicity for a much visited special show of the Carinthian energy provider.

Under the motto “Generation Climate Protection”, the Kelag Group demonstrated possibilities for improving energy efficiency, issued energy-saving guides and is working on expanding the use of hydropower and biomass. As part of this commitment, the “Energy for Generations Tour 2008” in the “Room for Ideas” informed the interested public about cost and energy saving potentials in their own households.

With information on possible contributions by each individual to active climate protection, experiments on electricity generation, energy checks, competitions and the screening of Al Gore’s documentary “An Inconvenient Truth”, the roadshow offered an exciting exhibition for the whole family.
