As a special exhibition space the ZENDOME.20 Home-Edition amazed the visitors of the German Hygiene Museum in Dresden.
Titled “2° The Weather, Man and His Climate”, the special exhibition dealt with global climate change as a social issue and illuminated the subject in a multi-layered way with media installations, interactive elements and objects from the history of nature, culture, art and science.
The geodesic dome serves ed perfectly as a room within a room, where shrimp in a closed biosphere, drawings of utopian space landscapes as a result of a NASA workshop and other interesting things were shown.
Until April 19, 2009, the public was able to explore how weather is created, what influence it has on everyday life, how the climate is changing and what scope for action there is for individuals and politicians to reduce Co2 emissions.
The exciting learning and experience event was realized with a number of partners such as the German Weather Service, the environmental foundation WWF Germany and the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology.
