Visitors to the eighth igs 2013 in Hamburg (International Garden Show) found everything they needed to know in the ZENDOME.75M – from April to October 2013, the geodesic dome was the central info point at the entrance to the garden show grounds.

For the expected 2,5 million guests on Hamburg’s Elbe island Wilhelmsburg, who walked along the ramp to the area, it was visible from afar.

The special print on the outside of the membrane traced the travel route of Phileas Fogg, the hero of Jules Verne’s novel “Around the World in 80 Days”.

This visual presentation referred to the park, where the igs presented 80 differently designed gardens, 26 flower hall shows, a total of 700 exhibitors, and a colorful cultural and stage program.

Actively involved in the educational program were also two ZENDOME.30M, in which children and young people could discover nature and the garden at the igs.
