In the form of a gas molecule, the ZENDOME.domescape, covering a total area of 70 x 100 meters, hosted a number of heads of state and government in early November 2011. In the center of the molecule was the ZENDOME.500 framed by four ZENDOME.300M and a complementary ZENDOME.75M.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, French Prime Minister François Fillon, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and EU Energy Commissioner Günther Oettinger ceremonially commissioned the Nord Stream pipeline under the 12.5 m high dome of the ZENDOME.500 in Lubmin.

Part of the ceremony was a multimedia staging with a breathtaking 360° projection: The more than 500 high-ranking representatives from politics, business and the media experienced a three-dimensional history of the development of the Baltic Sea pipeline which will supply the EU with natural gas from Russia.

From the media staging of the event to the mobile architecture of ZENDOME, the gas molecule was a symbol that was implemented as the creative central idea of the event by the responsible agency Triad Berlin.
